This is an account about the first time we see Baby face to face. Or as we put it - seeing Baby 1:1 ratio.

After the initial excitement about the boys possibly coming to Singapore, the disappointment at the cancellation, the happiness for friends in HK seeing them at Persona TW, the excitement again for Persona BKK in January, the horror of the reschedule, the mad scramble to change tickets, hotels and explaining to parents why we will not be home during Chinese New Year etc to finally seeing them live!! This is really a journey to remember.

We almost went crazy with the planning and re-planning of all our schedules and it was only until we are at the concert itself that we could say to ourselves 'YES FINALLY IT'S HAPPENING'.

So the story begins... We arrived in Bangkok on 11 February at about 3pm. We had hoped that we could catch the boys in the check out area (and main mission will be to pass a gift to Baby) but we found out last minute that they will only arrive at 11pm... Disappointed...

As luck would have it, we ended up staying in the same hotel as the boys (had booked another cheaper hotel but last minute plans change, did not even inform the hotel!! Ah!! They should have a poster with our faces and a cross-out at their reception now). Staying at the same hotel is great as we got see them at the lobby. But is always of them rushing into the lift or to the car. But since we stay there at least we dun need to stand behind the lines etc. Hehe... Baby is super super super x 100,000 cute!! So cute that I only see him throughout the whole experience. I saw YS a bit but that is a later story.

LOBBY
Actually at the lobby, the few times we saw them, was quite lucky. It is always when we come back from shopping or come down from the room to go shopping (yes we are shopaholics) when we realised that they going out or coming back. Usually they rush quite fast to the lift or out. Except JM which smile or waved.

On the first night, we had expected Baby to wear sunglasses but he made our day by not wearing it (its night – 12am – already still wear sunglasses wanna fall down meh). A bit no expression but still cute. I din notice the other boys except YS coz he was walking very slowly. He is the most slow walker I think. Like a 幽灵飘过 (ghost flying past) most of the time. This is also main reason why I saw YS a bit. Coz he walk the slowest so after seeing Baby 100% of available time, I turn around and only YS was still walking to lift or out... HAHA!!

The second night was the cutest. See below vid for all explanation. You can see us at right hand corner on the first scenes...

PRESS CONFERENCE
During press conference day, coz of our friend's contact we had the opportunity to go for the signing event for the photobook. We din wait too long at the press con coz we had to rush to get into the queue. Our friend's friend was kind enough to queue for us as she had to register to get the numbers. We were standing at the corner and coz we love Baby, we waited at the side that Baby will appear. We did not squeeze into the press con area as we had to run off after a while for the signing event.

SIGNING / HANDSHAKE EVENT
Halfway through the press con, we left to queue for the signing event (they were suppose to provide a poster for signing) which was suppose to be right after the meet and greet session for 50 lucky concert ticket holders. We din have to queue long and when we went into the room, it is very small with a rectangle table and the boys sitting. They just direct you to a random boy. At first we were thinking of the sequence they always stand so I thot I got Leader (centre) and 린다13 got YS (2nd from left). But in the end 린다13 got KJ and I got... YS!! And end up coz they 'couldn't freight the posters in time', it became a handshake event.

kikilala: I went to the front and realised that I got YS. YS looked at me and said 'Thank You' (for buying the book lar) and shook my hand. He is cute!! I told him I am from Singapore. He couldn't hear so he leaned forward and said Huh? So I bend down a bit to say again I am from Singapore. At this time a security kinda person put his hand in front of me to 'block' me and I gave him a DUH stare. Coz I wasn't even excitable. Just a calm fan. Sometimes security are over reacting.

I must say that although YS is my second fav, I can only see Baby the moment I stepped into the room... When YS was saying thank you and many times before I step in front of him, my eyes always slide to the side to stare at Baby. Miane YS... I cannot help it... I din do it on purpose... Baby is silently calling me... No choice...

린다 : Was rushed into the room and only 1 person caught my eyes… he was like glowing… The girl beside me asked me if wanna change place with her coz she knows we like Baby… The “glowing” person is making me dizzy and I said no to that girl. Anyway, cannot change too. The guard was like holding on to the girl before letting us go towards the table.

I shook hand with KJ. (Baby was just beside him)
He said “thank you.”
Then I thanked him and told him I am from Singapore .
Then he was like “huh?”
Then I repeated that I am from Singapore.

Then we went outside the room and we left our gift there with the rest of the gifts from other fans. Hope he got it.

CONCERT
Concert I think is very rushed. Coz they had to catch the flight back to Korea so a lot of things were just rushed through. Also the stage was not as we anticipated looking at the concert layout so we were further than we thot. But some seats in front of us were empty so we moved more front.

I made an LED lightboard for Baby (took me weeks!). It worked but his name was not very clear. The words SINGAPORE and the ICONS are ok. Towards the end of encore, when the boys were going to all corners to bow and say thanks, we were standing and waving the lightboard and all our lightsticks with Baby's name on it. Can you imagine all our hands filled with different lightsticks. Then suddenly he looked at us and waved!! As there were many people there, we could not be sure he was waving at us so I shaked the lightboard a bit and he nodded his head and wink!! OMG!! We were both jumping with joy then (where is the security when he is needed right? HAHA!!).

After concert we rushed to the airport to send them off. We turned on the lightboard as well and he saw it while he was walking in and nodded at us.

That ends our very long post on the first encounter with a life size Baby. Hope that there are other chances soon and hope all sisters will be able to go.
