With all the recent problems occuring for SS501, such as their album being delayed and HyunJoong getting into a car accident, fans have been looking for some light at the end of tunnel. Finally, some good news for fans is that according to DSP Entertainment their upcoming album Destination is due out on May 31st which was announced Tuesday.
A DSP Media representative explained in a press conference that the album was made through a collaboration of some of the most talented musicians in Korea, Europe and the U.S including Korean-American music producer Steven Lee. Lee had previously written and arranged all the tracks on SS501’s album Rebirth and has also composed the title track from Destination called ‘Love Ya’.
All the tracks included on Destination have been arranged with piano accompaniments whilst combining a minimum amount of electronic sounds which is quite popular in the charts at the moment.
Some of the tracks included are ‘Let Me Be The One‘ which is an R&B track, and a dance number titled ‘Crazy 4 U’, which was performed during their Persona Asia Tour. It was left out of the Rebirth album and it is said that fans requested that SS501 include the track on their new album due to its high popularity.
SS501 are scheduled to give a comeback performance on KBS Music Bank on June 4.
So are you guys looking forward to the new album Destination? I know I’m excited for them to be coming back after being absent from the music scene since October.
